JABALPUR, India, March 28 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 25:
1. Learned counsel for the respondent-University submits that the Executive Committee of the University in its meeting held on 20th February, 2026 has accepted the report of the Fact Finding Committee and decided to cancel the entire subject recruitment process.
2. There are cross petitions. In some petitions, petitioners have sought completion of the recruitment process and; in some, petitioners have sought the recruitment process to be annulled. Since the recruitment process has been annulled, these petitions are disposed of with a direction to the respondent-University to place a copy of the report on record as also supply a copy to the petitioners through their respective counsels.
3. Accordingly, all these petitions are disposed of. It would be open to the petitioners to initiate appropriate proceedings in accordance with law if aggrieved by the report or the decision taken by the respondent-University in annulling the process.
