JABALPUR, India, Nov. 16 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Oct. 15:

Learned counsel for appellant submits that appellant is aggrieved by an observation contained in the order dated 22.09.2025, whereby the representation of the appellant against the transfer, was rejected. He submits that there is an observation that appellant has misused his powers that he was exercising. He submits that there is no basis for recording this finding and pursuant to dismissal of writ petition, the respondent authorities are taking departmental action against the appellant. He further prays that reasonable time be granted to appellant to join the place of posting.

In view of the above, this appeal is disposed of granting time to appellant to join the place of posting on or before 27.10.2025.

It is further clarified that in case any departmental action is initiated against the appellant, the appellant would be at liberty to defend the same and the authority shall consider the departmental action without being influenced by order dated 22.09.2025 and mere dismissal of writ petition of the appellant which was primarily against the transfer of the appellant. The appellant would be at liberty to initiate appropriate proceedings against any departmental action inter alia suspension as well.
