JABALPUR, India, March 11 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Feb. 9:

1. Appellant impugns order dated 27.09.2025, whereby the petition filed by the appellant challenging the transfer order dated 30.06.2025 has been dismissed. By an order dated 30.06.2025 appellant was transferred from the office of MPPKVVCL Nadan Kendra Maihar, District Maihar to the office of Executive Engineer (Store), Satna. Petitioner challenged the transfer by way of a writ petition being W.P.No.26428 of 2025, which was disposed of by the writ Court vide order dated 18.07.2025, directing the respondent no.1 to take a decision on petitioner's (appellant herein) representation within a period of 30 days. It was directed that for the period of 30 days there shall be stay on transfer order.

2. As per the appellant, said representation has not been decided and by an order dated 09.09.2025, appellant has been relieved from the place of posting i.e. from Maihar.

3. We note that in the representation the only ground given by the appellant is that he is likely to superannuate shortly and as such he should not be transferred. The appellant is to be superannuated on 31.08.2026 and transfer order was issued on 30.06.2025 and there was a period of more than a year in the date of retirement.

4. Consequently, we find no ground to interfere in the transfer order and accordingly no ground to interfere with the impugned order. Appeal is accordingly dismissed.
