MADHYA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES JUDGEMENT ON ANURAG KUMAR V/S THE STATE OF MADHYA PRADESH AND OTHERS

JABALPUR, India, March 3 -- Madhya Pradesh High Court issued the following judgment/order on Jan. 2:

Corpus has been produced in Court by Shri Satish ChaturvediDeputy Superintendent of Police, Ms.Madhu Maravi-Sub Inspector, Ms.Parwati-Head Constable and Shri Indra Kumar-Constable, District Mandla. She is aged about 20 years. She states that she wishes to stay at her parental house and she is not in any wrongful confinement or under any pressure from her parents.

Petitioner alleges that he has married to the Corpus.

In view of the fact that Corpus is a major and is not in any wrongful confinement and Corpus on her own free will wishes to reside at her parental house, the petition is disposed of.

It is open to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies in accordance with law.
