India, Aug. 18 -- The Government of India issued the following news release:
For promotion of Art and Culture, Ministry of Culture is implementing Kala Sanskriti Vikas Yojana (KSVY) under which financial assistance is provided to eligible cultural organizations / individuals working in the field of performing arts (including traditional, folk and tribal arts) across the country, including the state of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The details of total amount of funds allocated, sanctioned / utilized under KSVY during the last five financial years and the current financial year are as under:
