RANCHI, India, June 28 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on June 3:
1. Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
2. The instant bail application has been preferred by the petitioner for grant of regular bail for the offences registered under Sections 103 (1), 3(5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has falsely been implicated in this case and for no offence he is languishing in judicial custody since 27.01.2025. He further submits that the petitioner is neither named in the FIR nor anything incriminating has been recovered from his possession to connect him in the present case. As such, he may be enlarged on bail.
4. Learned A.P.P. opposed the prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail.
5. Having regard to the facts of this case and looking into the allegations made against this petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, at this stage, this bail application is hereby rejected.
