RANCHI, India, Nov. 22 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 22:

1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 333/2023 arising out of Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 40/2018, for the offences registered under Sections 364/34 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of learned A.S.J.-II, Chatra.

3. Husband of the informant namely, Gulab Yadav, who was exTPC member went to meet co-accused and thereafter he went missing. Suspicion has been raised against this petitioner alongwith other accused persons might have committed his murder.

4. It was submitted that apart from suspicion, there is no material against the petitioner on the record. It was further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court as well as co-ordinate Bench of this Court.

5. In view of the aforesaid facts, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.S.J.-II, Chatra in connection with S.T. Case No. 333/2023 arising out of Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 40/2018.
