RANCHI, India, May 15 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 13:
Heard Mr. Vikram Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the State as well as Mr. Sarvendra Kumar, learned counsel for the informant.
This application is directed against the order dated 05.12.2025 passed by the learned Special Judge, Child Act Cases cum Additional Sessions Judge I, Chatra in Criminal (Juvenile) Appeal No. 71 of 2025 in connection with Pratappur P. S. Case No. 55 of 2025 whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
It has been alleged that the son of the informant was taken away by the accused persons to attend a marriage ceremony. It has also been alleged that the accused Vikram Kumar had caught hold of the son of the informant and the petitioner is said to have shot with a pistol which resulted in his death.
Though, it has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that none had seen the petitioner firing at the deceased but the Social Investigation Report reveals that the petitioner was found with a gun in his hand which furthermore strengthens the allegation levelled against the petitioner.
On consideration of the aforesaid facts, therefore, I am not inclined to entertain this revision application which accordingly stands rejected.
