JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON SHYAM SONI V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND

RANCHI, India, Feb. 11 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 12:

1. Mr. Shailendra Jit, learned counsel for the appellant is present before this Court.

2. The record reveals that, service report of the notice issued to the appellant did not get executed, as the appellant, namely, Shyam Soni son of Prameshwer Soni, has died.

3. The above-said service report has been sent by the Registrar Civil Court, Hazaribag in compliance of the order of this Court dated 30th January, 2024.

4. In the present appeal, the deceased appellant was the sole appellant.

5. In view of the above stated fact, the present appeal is dismissed as abated.
