RANCHI, India, Feb. 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 22:

1. Heard the parties.

2. In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:

(i) Arrears of salary for the period of February 2000, September 2000, October 2000 and November 2000.

(ii) Uniform allowance for the period of 1997-2000.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as her representation is already pending before the respondents, suffice it would be, if a direction is given to the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State submits that if the petitioner files a fresh detailed representation before the respondent no. 3-the Director, Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, her case will be considered.

5. Considering the submission of the parties, I direct the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the respondent no. 3- the Director, Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare, who will consider the case of the petitioner.

6. The representation should be filed within four weeks and the decision should be taken within six weeks thereafter.

7. If it is found that the petitioner is entitled for any monetary benefits the same should be extended to the petitioner within four weeks thereafter. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.

8. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
