RANCHI, India, Aug. 5 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 4:

1. In spite of the order passed by the Lawazima Boards on 04.11.2020 and 10.12.2020, the defects have not been removed.

2. Thereafter, the matter was listed before the Coordinate Bench on 28.09.2022. On that date, on the prayer being made by learned counsel for the review petitioner, two weeks' time was granted for removal of defects but the defects have not been removed, therefore, the matter has been listed before this Court under the heading for "Orders(with defect)".

3. The instant review is of the year 2020 and it appears that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the instant review petition since the defects are still surviving even in spite of time granted thrice to the petitioner.

4. Even today none is present to represent the review petitioner.

5. In view thereof, the instant review petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.

6. Pending interlocutory applications, if any, also stands dismissed.

Later on

1. After passing of the aforesaid order, Mr. M. M. Sharma, learned counsel, has submitted that he has also signed Vakalatnama along with Mr. Binod Kumar Jha (now deceased).

2. He has submitted on instruction of the review petitioner that he is not supposed to argue the matter, rather, he has been informed not to appear since another counsel will be engaged.

3. This Court, considering the aforesaid submission, is of the view that no alteration is required in the order already passed dismissing the review petition in default.
