RANCHI, India, Nov. 30 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 30:
1. Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of Petitioner and learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Pindrajora P.S. Case No. 149/2025, registered under sections 126(2)/352/351(2)/115(2)/127(2)/132 of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bokaro.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner happened to be the ward member of Knedwadih where the the informant is the panchayat Sevak and this petitioner has raised certain objection with regard to the allotment of the house under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awash Yojna and in that view only, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. He then submits that this aspect has also been reported by the wife of the petitioner on 28.08.2025 to the Superintendent of Police, Bokaro with copies to the SDPO, Sadar, Chas, Bokaro. He further submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in Para 10 of the petition.
4. Learned counsel for the State opposed the prayer.
5. Annexure -2 is the document which is addressed to the Superintendent of Police, Bokaro with copies to the SDPO, Sadar, Chas, Bokaro on 28.08.2025 by the wife of the petitioner about the illegality is being made in the allotment of the house under the scheme of Pradhan Mantri Awash Yojna.
6. In view of the above and considering that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent; I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
7. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from the date of receipt of the order and on the event of his surrender / arrest, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount of each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bokaro, in connection with Pindrajora P.S. Case No. 149/2025, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
8. This Anticipatory Bail Application is accordingly allowed and disposed of.
