RANCHI, India, May 1 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 30:
1. Office is directed to register this case immediately. Later on
2. This case has been registered as W.P. (C) No. 2147 of 2026. W.P. (C) No. 2147 of 2026
3. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.
4. This case has been listed today under the heading for 'Orders' to decide on the point of maintainability.
5. I have gone through the writ petition. This petition has been filed by the petitioner praying for writ of certiorari to quash and set aside the order dated 17.07.2025 passed by the learned Judge City Civil Court, Calcutta in Misc. Case Nos.9688/2025, 9693/2025, 9690/2025, 9691/2025 and 9689/2025.
6. Further prayer has been made to restrain the respondents and their agents from taking any steps to seize or take possession of the vehicles mentioned.
7. Considering the prayer made therein in this writ petition, since the petitioner has prayed to quash the order passed by the learned Judge, City Civil Court, Calcutta over which this Court has no jurisdiction and also the consequential prayers which are related to the said case, this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India is not maintainable before this Court.
8. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands dismissed.
