RANCHI, India, Dec. 14 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Nov. 13:
1. Admittedly, the issue, which the petitioner has raised before this Court, is the subject matter of the Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT).
2. The petitioners are praying for regularization. The petitioners are the employees of Union of India, working in Indian Railways. Any services with respect of Indian Railway is amenable to the jurisdiction of Central Administrative Tribunal.
3. The Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Leelavathi N. & Others Vs. State of Karnataka and Others, reported in 2025 SCC OnLine SC 2253 very recently has held that the High Court should not entertain a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India in matters falling squarely within the domain of the Tribunals.
4. Further more, the earlier round of litigation was also initiated before the CAT.
5. In that view, I am not inclined to entertain this writ petition. Accordingly, the same is dismissed.
