RANCHI, India, Dec. 31 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 1:
1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been dismissed from service. He was a Constable. He has been dismissed from service and communication was sent to him on 21.02.2025.
3. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has already filed Departmental Appeal challenging the aforesaid order but till date the same has yet not been disposed of by the Appellate Authority.
4. It has been submitted that suffice it would be, if a direction is given to the Appellate Authority to dispose of his appeal considering the legal and factual matter in this case.
5. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents does not oppose the said prayer.
6. Thus, considering the submission of the parties, I direct the respondent no. 2-Deputy Inspector General, CISF-cum-Appellate Authority to dispose of the appeal preferred by this petitioner within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. He should pass speaking order considering the merit of this case
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
