RANCHI, India, Dec. 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Nov. 24:

This appeal is directed against the order dated 26.08.2025 passed by learned Sessions Judge, Latehar in Bail Petition No.355 of 2025 arising out of Mahuadanr P.S. Case No.33 of 2023, whereby and whereunder prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that in the construction site, the extremists had arrived and set ablaze several vehicles.

Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that though the appellant has been named in the First Information Report, but his name has surfaced on account of purported discloser made by one of the extremists as noted in the First Information Report. Learned counsel submits that the appellant is in custody since 21.07.2025.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant and has submitted that the appellant has got several criminal antecedents.

Considering the manner of implication of the appellant as would be apparent from the First Information Report, we while setting aside the order dated 26.08.2025 passed in Bail Petition No.355 of 2025 arising out of Mahuadanr P.S. Case No.33 of 2023 by the learned Sessions Judge, Latehar, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Court below.

This appeal is allowed.
