RANCHI, India, June 11 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 15:
1. Heard Ms. Priyanka Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned P.P. appearing for the State.
2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 228 of 2024 for the offences registered under Sections 317(5), 3(5) of the BNS and Sections 18, 22 and 27 of N.D.P.S. Act.
3. From the perusal of record, it transpires that co-accused Rohit Kumar got apprehended and other co-accused person fled away from the house and from Rohit Kumar, 58g of Afim and amount of Rs. 1,07,10,320/- got recovered from the house of Rohit Kumar. It further appears that apprehended Rohit Kumar disclosed the name of this petitioner and other co-accused person and this petitioner is said to be elder brother of Rohit Kumar who is also involved in sale of narcotic substance. Record further reveals that co-accused Rohit Kumar vide order dated 24.01.2025 passed in B.A. No. 500 of 2025, Animesh Kumar @ Subodh Dangi @ Animesh Kumar Verma vide order dated 24.02.2025 passed in B.A. No. 1532 of 2025 and Sukhdeo Rajak vide order dated 01.05.2025 passed in B.A. No. 3543 of 2025 have already been admitted to bail by the co-ordinate Bench of this Court and petitioner is said to be in judicial custody since 02.04.2025.
4. Learned P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS-cum-Sessions Judge, Koderma in connection with Koderma P.S. Case No. 228 of 2024.
