RANCHI, India, June 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 27:

1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order dated 15th May, 2025 passed in the present case, the petitioner was served a copy of Memo No.769 dated 14th May, 2025 issued by the Circle Officer, Chandil informing inter alia that Magistrate and Police Force had been deputed to get the alleged encroachment removed on 17th May, 2025 in connection with Encroachment Case No.01 of 2025-26. The petitioner vide said memo was directed to ensure removal of encroachment from the land in question on the said date. Since on 17th May, 2025 the Police Force was not available, the action pursuant to the said memo dated 14th May, 2025 was not taken. However, the petitioner has apprehension that structure existing over the land in question will be removed forcibly by the authorities any day.

2. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and on prima facie consideration of the issue involved in the writ petition, no action for removal of the alleged encroachment from the land in question shall be taken by the respondent-authorities till the next date of listing.

3. I.A. Nos.6522 and 6654 of 2025 are disposed of accordingly. W.P.(C) No.2595 of 2025:

4. Mr. K.K. Singh, learned S.C.-V submits that a counter affidavit has been drafted and the same is ready to be filed. He, accordingly, prays for an adjournment.

5. Considering the said prayer put up this case under the heading "For Admission" on 16th June, 2025.

6. In the meantime, the petitioner may file the rejoinder affidavit.
