RANCHI, India, Feb. 22 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 20:
1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. Although, we have not called upon the appellant-husband, namely, Rajesh Agrawal, but he is also present in the Court.
3. Mr. Kaushik Sarkhel, learned counsel on the instruction of the appellant-husband, namely, Rajesh Agrawal has submitted that he does not intend to press this appeal, since, he is ready to make payment of the amount of permanent alimony determined to the tune of Rs. 5 Lacs, in two installments maximum within a period of four months.
4. There is no opposition on behalf of the respondent-wife, who is being represented by Mr. Arun Kumar.
5. According to the undertaking furnished by the respondent-husband, namely, Rajesh Agrawal, he will make payment of Rs. 5 Lacs, in two installments maximum within a period of four months. 6. Accordingly, the instant appeal is dismissed as not pressed and, as such, disposed of.
