RANCHI, India, Feb. 25 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 27:
Heard Mr. Atanu Banerjee, the learned counsel for the review petitioner and Mr. Badal Vishal, the learned counsel for the respondent.
This application has been preferred by the petitioner for review of the order dated 20.12.2023 passed in F.A. No. 393 of 2018.
It has been submitted by Mr. Atanu Banerjee, the learned counsel for the review petitioner, while referring to paragraph-16 of the order under review, that the question of cruelty and desertion have not been appropriately considered and various facets of the case have not been taken note of while allowing F.A. No. 393 of 2018.
Mr. Badal Vishal, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent herein, has submitted that the issue of cruelty as well as desertion has been appropriately considered.
What appears from the submission of the learned counsel for the review petitioner is that according to him some facets with respect to cruelty and desertion have not been considered by us but at the same time it must be borne in mind that there has to be an error apparent on the face of the record to consider an application for review. There being no error apparent on the face of the record, which could be substantiated by the learned counsel for the review petitioner, we are not inclined to entertain this application which accordingly stands dismissed.
