RANCHI, India, June 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 27:
1. The petitioner is an accused for the offences punishable under Sections 303(2) and 334(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case and has not committed any offence as alleged. It is further submitted that in course of investigation of Jainagar P.S. Case No. 227 of 2024, coaccused persons namely Daulat Saw and Anuj Saw were arrested and on the basis of their alleged confessional statements, the petitioner was also arrested in connection with Jainagar P.S. case No. 227 of 2024 and thereafter on his alleged confession recorded by the police, he was also remanded in the present case on 31.01.2025 as well as four other cases. The details of the said cases in which he has already been granted regular bail, have been mentioned at paragraph-10 of the present bail application. The petitioner undertakes to co-operate in the trial and hence, he may be given the privilege of regular bail.
3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioner's prayer for regular bail.
4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
5. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Koderma in connection with Jainagar P.S. Case No. 211 of 2024 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 147 of 2025.
