RANCHI, India, Feb. 14 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 13:
Bail petition filed on behalf of the petitioner- Pankaj Kumar, who is in custody since 10.09.2025 in connection with Hazaribag Sadar P.S. Case No. 280 of 2025 for the offence registered under Sections 25(1-A)/25(7)/26/35 of the Arms Act pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Hazaribag, is pressed into motion.
It is submitted by the learned senior counsel on behalf of petitioner that the allegation against him is that three cartridges were seized from his conscious physical possession and the allegation of seizure of fire arms is not against him rather against co-accused, Ritesh Kumar Yadav.
Learned A.P.P. opposed the bail petition.
Under the circumstances, the above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/-(Twenty Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Court below subject to the condition that both the bailors will be close relative.
