JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON MUNESHWAR GANJHU V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND

RANCHI, India, May 15 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 13:

Cr. Appeal (SJ) No. 842 of 2007

1. Vide order dated, 04.09.2025, learned Special P.P. was directed to ascertain the life status of the appellant Muneshwar Ganjhu @ Kaliya and file necessary affidavit alongwith copy of death certificate.

2. Learned Special P.P. has filed a counter affidavit enclosing the certificate of Mukhiya stating therein that the sole appellant Muneshwar Ganjhu @ Kaliya has died in the year 2009.

3. As such, this appeal stands abated.
