RANCHI, India, March 8 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Feb. 6:
1. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :-
"(a) for issuance of an appropriate writ, order, or direction, specifically a writ in the nature of Mandamus, commanding the Respondent No. 2 (The Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi) to hear and dispose of the pending Mutation Revision Case No. 54R15/2025-26 (titled Mukesh Nag vs. Smt. Prachi), as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a fixed time-bound period of two (02) months;
(b) for issuance of an appropriate order or direction that during the pendency of the said Mutation Revision Case No.54R15/2025-26, an order of status quo be passed, directing all parties to maintain the status quo as it exists today with respect to the land in question, and specifically restraining the Private Respondents (Nos.5 & 6) from alienating, encumbering, or creating any thirdparty rights over the land based on the illegal mutation orders."
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has approached this Court with a limited prayer that the authority concerned may be directed to dispose of the pending Mutation Revision Case No.54R15/2025-26, as early as possible.
3. In view of above limited prayer, learned counsel for the other side has raised no objection.
4. In that view of the matter, the present writ petition stands disposed of directing the concerned revisional authority to dispose of the pending mutation revision being Mutation Revision Case No.54R15/2025-26, as early as possible, without doing undue adjournment to one and another party.
5. In view of above order, there is no requirement of issuance of notice upon the private respondents. 6. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
