RANCHI, India, Jan. 8 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 8:

1. It has been informed by learned counsel for the petitioners that petitioner no.1 has also died who was substituted in place of original petitioner.

2. Learned counsel for the EPFO submits that in view of paragraph no. 4 of the supplementary affidavit filed on 07.03.2025 where the detail of contribution is mentioned, the remaining petitioner who is the legal heir of original employee shall file Form No.20 and the admitted dues will be paid to them.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner(s) submit that the instant writ application may be disposed of in the light of paragraph no. 4 of the supplementary counter affidavit dated 07.03.2025 by giving liberty to the present petitioner to file Form No. 20 and the respondents may be directed to pay the dues amount.

4. Having regard to the aforesaid submission and the development in the case, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of in the light of paragraph no 4 of the supplementary counter affidavit dated 07.03.2025 by giving liberty to the present petitioner(s) to file Form No.20. The moment Form No.20 is filed by the present petitioner(s) before the concerned respondent the accumulated amount of PF be extended to the present petitioner(s) within a period of 8 weeks from the date of submission of Form No. 20 on behalf of present petitioner(s). The present petitioner(s) shall raise grievance, if there is any calculation error.

5. As a result, the instant writ application stands disposed of. 6. Pending I.As, if any, also stand disposed of.
