RANCHI, India, Jan. 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 22:

Heard Mr. Vikas Kumar, learned counsel for the appellant and learned A.P.P.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 01.12.2025 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj in B.P. No. 341/2025 in connection with Barharwa Rail P.S. Case No. 31/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that two boys were recovered from Barharwa Railway Station and the appellant and another accused were apprehended on the allegation that they were involved in human trafficking.

Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that both the boys have been recovered. It has been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 17.10.2025.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

On consideration of the fact that the victims have been recovered from the Railway Station itself and the fact that charge sheet has been submitted as stated by the learned counsel for the appellant, we while setting aside the order dated 01.12.2025 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Sahibganj in B.P. No. 341/2025 in connection with Barharwa Rail P.S. Case No. 31/2025 direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Railway Judicial Magistrate at Sahibganj.

This appeal is allowed.
