RANCHI, India, Oct. 21 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 22:

1. Heard Mrs. Shabina Parween, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Pankaj Kumar, learned P.P. for the State.

2. This appeal is directed against the order dated 11.08.2025 passed in connection with S.T. Case No.217 of 2023 vide M.C.A. No. 1118 of 2025 arising out of Chakradharpur P.S. Case No. 131 of 2022 by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sub-Divisional Court, Chakradharpur (Chaibasa), whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

3. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated on the confessional statement of the co-accused, Satya Narayan Pradhan

4. It has further been submitted that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court in Cr. Appeal (D.B.) No.723 of 2025 and Cr. Appeal (D.B.) No.731 of 2025 and Cr. Appeal (D.B.) No.72 of 2024.

5. Learned counsel submits that the appellant is in custody since 29.11.2022.

6. Learned P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellants and has submitted that apart from the confessional statement of Satya Narayan Pradhan, the electronic and digital evidence also indicates about the complicity of the appellant in the commission of murder.

7. On consideration of the manner of implication of the appellant and the fact that several co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court, we, while setting aside the order dated 11.08.2025 passed in connection with S.T. Case No.217 of 2023 vide M.C.A. No. 1118 of 2025 arising out of Chakradharpur P.S. Case No. 131 of 2022, direct the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, West Singhbhum, Chakradharpur, Chaibasa.

8. This appeal is allowed.
