RANCHI, India, Nov. 2 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 6:

1. Heard the parties.

2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bokaro Steel City P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 303 (2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro.

3. During the intervening night of 31.01.2025, motorcycle of the informant parked outside his house was stolen by unknown person.

4. It was submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from possession of the petitioner. It was further submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused.

5. Mr. Someshwar Roy, learned A.P.P. appearing for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent.

6. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material available on record against the petitioner, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bokaro, in connection with Bokaro Steel City P.S. Case No. 16 of 2025.
