RANCHI, India, June 16 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 14:
1. Heard learned counsels for petitioner and for State.
2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nawadih PS Case No.57 of 2025, for offence registered under section 310(2), 317(3) of BNS, 2023 Section 25(1-B)a, 26, 35 of Arms Act, pending in court of learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate Bermo at Tenughat.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the name of the petitioner has come on confessional statement and the petitioner has nothing to do with the said crime of forcefully entering in the house of the informant of looting.
4. Learned State counsel opposes prayer and submits that the petitioner happened to be accomplice of the person who has entered into the house of the informant and executed the said crime.
5. In the FIR, it has been alleged that the accused persons have entered into the house of the petitioner and they have tied up the informant and by way of pointing pistol, they have looted the jewellery and the petitioner is said to be accomplice of the said accused and those persons have taken the name of the petitioner, and in the attending facts and circumstance of the present case, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected and consequently this anticipatory bail application is dismissed.
