RANCHI, India, Dec. 11 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Nov. 11:
1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner in this writ petition has prayed to direct the respondents to take a final decision on the complaint dated 08.09.2025 which was received by the Central Coalfields Limited in respect of an appointment given to one Smt. Malti Devi who according to the petitioner has obtained employment by impersonation.
3. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner was formally known as Roushan Ara and later on married to Anil Ray who was employee of Central Coalfields Limited thereafter she changed her name as Malti Devi. After the death of Anil Ray, it is the allegation of the petitioner that another individual namely Malti Devi impersonating herself who actually is the wife of Upendra Rai has obtained employment for her son by representing herself as the widow of Anil Ray. The petitioner's claim is that the petitioner had objected to the said appointment and also filed a representation before the respondents.
4. Considering the submission of the parties and the peculiar facts of this case, this Court cannot enquire the issue of impersonation.
5. It is better if the petitioner files a fresh representation before the General Manager (P&I)-respondent no. 4 who will consider the representation of the petitioner after giving proper opportunity of hearing to all the interested parties including the respondent no.9.
6. The respondents should take a decision on the representation of the petitioner within a period of 16 weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of the order intimating their decision to all the parties within the aforesaid period.
7. Be it noted that this Court has not entered into the merits of this Case.
8. This writ petition is disposed of.
