RANCHI, India, April 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 24:
1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondent-JSSC.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her candidature has been recommended by the respondent-JSSC for appointment on the post of Graduate Trained Teacher (Classes VI-VIII). Being a successful candidate, she needs to be appointed but the respondents have not issued her appointment letter.
3. Counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-JSSC admits that they have already recommended the name of the petitioner for appointment.
4. Considering the said submission, I direct the respondent No.2-Principal Secretary, Department of School Education and Litracy Department, Government of Jharkhand to take appropriate decision in terms of the recommendation made by the JSSC so far as this petitioner is concerned.
5. If the petitioner is otherwise found fit to be appointed, her appointment letter should be issued immediately without any delay preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
6. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
