RANCHI, India, Nov. 30 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 30:
1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Madhupur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2025, for the offence registered under Section 309(4) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhupur.
3. On 24.07.2025 at about 9:30 p.m., the informant was waylaid by two unknown persons. Accused persons looted Rs.2,000/- and his mobile phone from him. It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from his possession.
4. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Madhupur, in connection with Madhupur P.S. Case No. 120 of 2025.
