RANCHI, India, Aug. 8 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 9:
1. The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for a direction upon the concerned respondent for extending the service of the petitioner for one year from the date of retirement i.e. 06.05.2025.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though the petitioner was fully entitled for the prayer made in the instant writ application; however, in spite of repeated representations, his grievance was not redressed.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents fairly submits that if the present petitioner files a fresh representation before the concerned respondent he will look into the matter and pass an appropriate order.
4. Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, without going into the merits of the case, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of, by directing the Respondent No.2 to treat this writ application as representation and pass an order in the light of averments made in this writ application and also Annexure-1, within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner shall serve the copy of the writ application along with this order to the Respondent No.2 for early disposal of his grievance.
5. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the instant writ application stands disposed of.
