RANCHI, India, Dec. 30 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Dec. 1:

1. Heard the parties.

2. The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the impugned notice dated 15.02.2025 (Annexure - 5) issued by the Circle Officer, Itkhori, Chatra, to the petitioner. The relevant portion of the notice dated 15.02.2025 reads as under :-

Notice can be viewed at: (https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/ecourtindiaHC/cases/display_pdf.php?filename=A9S7c5LDIsB6RXaCf816x3swjC9oSRnC19ZjgKagTdRiiAg%2FKNKUO6X3Oy2uHp1p&caseno=WPC/6391/2025&cCode=1&cino=JHHC010365502025&state_code=7&appFlag=)

3. The impugned notice dated 15.02.2025 is nothing but a waste piece of paper because neither it contains any docket number nor any proceeding number. It is nothing but misuse of the official power.

4. This Court had earlier deprecated such type of notices. Once again this Court deprecates notice dated 15.02.2025, issued by the Circle Officer, Itkhori, Chatra.

5. In view of above observation, this Court declares the impugned notice dated 15.02.2025 as redundant and order accordingly.

6. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the Deputy Commissioner, Chatra, for taking appropriate action against the erring official, who has dared to issue such type of notice without even docketing the same. This is nothing but a clear cut case of corruption.

7. With above observation and direction, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of.

8. However, the parties are at liberty to work out their further remedy in accordance with law.

9. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
