RANCHI, India, May 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 6:

1. The instant criminal revision has been preferred against the order / judgment dated 09.06.2017 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dumka in Original Maintenance Petition No. 30 of 2016, whereby and whereunder learned Court has dismissed the Maintenance Petition filed by the petitioner.

2. It is informed by learned counsel for both the parties that vide order dated 14.09.2023, the matter was sent to the JHALSA, Ranchi for mediation and the matter has been settled between the parties. It is also pointed out that divorce has also been taken place between the parties vide judgment dated 01.10.2024 passed by learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Dumka in Original Suit No. 17 of 2024, wherein also the present petitioner has admitted that she has received permanent alimony amounting to Rs. 3,50,000/- as full and final settlement, waiving any amount of maintenance.

3. In view of the above, the present criminal revision has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, this criminal revision is disposed of as infructuous.
