RANCHI, India, March 1 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 29:

Heard Mr. Om Prakash, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned A.P.P. appearing for the State.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 12.01.2026 passed in Misc. Cr. Application No. 327 of 2025 in connection with Pakur (Muffasil) P. S. Case No. 29 of 2024 corresponding to S. T. No. 189 of 2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Pakur whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that several bombs and stones were thrown at the house of the informant.

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the appellant that none of the family members of the informant have suffered injuries. He further submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons namely, Dalim Sk. And Bana Shekh have been granted bail by this court in Cr. Appeal (DB) Nos. 460 of 2024 and 1389 of 2025. Learned counsel further adds that the appellant is in custody since 16.10.2025.

Learned A.P.P. for the State though has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant., but has not opposed the aforesaid facts.

Regard being had to the above, we while setting aside the order 12.01.2026 passed in Misc. Cr. Application No. 327 of 2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Pakur direct that the appellant above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Sessions Judge, Pakur in connection with in connection with Pakur (Muffasil) P. S. Case No. 29 of 2024 corresponding to S. T. No. 189 of 2025.

This appeal is allowed.
