JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON KASHI NATH PRASAD V/S ZILA PARISHAD AND ANR.

RANCHI, India, Feb. 10 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 9:

1. Heard both the parties.

2. This Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed for modification of order dated 16.05.2024 passed in WP(C) No.1042 of 2024.

3. In view of the statement made in Paragraph Nos.8 & 9 of the counter-affidavit, the order dated 16.05.2024 is modified to the following extent: -

In paragraph No.3 of the order in the 4th line, the word "lease deed" should be read "as per the Resolution dated 21.10.2021, Point No.12 (15)".

4. The order dated 16.05.2024 passed in W.P.(C) No.1042 of 2024 is modified accordingly.

5. It is made clear that the lease rent in terms of the Resolution dated 21.10.2021 should be accepted by the opposite parties.

6. Accordingly, the instant Civil Miscellaneous Petition is disposed of.
