RANCHI, India, March 1 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 29:

1. 1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following reliefs :-

"(a) for quashing the order dated 29.08.2023 passed by the Learned Settlement Officer, Dumka passed in Objection Appeal No. 137/2021 as contained in Annexure-11 Whereby and whereunder, the Learned Settlement Officer, Dumka rejected the Objection Appeal No. 137/2021, preferred by the petitioners against the order dated 18.09.2021 passed by the Learned Assistant Settlement Officer Final Publication Camp/Court, Godda, passed in Objection Case No.1594/2017/1374/2018 as contained in Annexure-4 by which the Learned Assistant Settlement Officer Final Publication Camp/Court, Godda ordered to delete the New Jamabandi No.203(k)/55 and 207(k)/55 of the name of the petitioners of Mouza-Sundermore, Thana No.543, P.S.-Godda (Town), District-Godda from Plot No.1384/1385, 1200/1167 and 1126/1506 under new Jamabandi No. 100/55 and further ordered to amalget the new Jamabandi No. 203(K)/55 and 207(K) /55 of the petitioners in the new Jamabandi No.100/55.

(b) for further quashing the order dated 18.09.2021 passed by the learned Assistant Settlement Officer Final Publication passed in Camp/ Court, Godda, passed in Objection Case No.1594/ 2017/ 1374/ 2018 as contained in Annxure-4 by which the Learned Assistant Settlement Officer in the Final Publication Camp/Court, Godda ordered to delete the name of petitioners of New from Jamabandi No.203(k)/55 and 207(k)/ 55 of the land of Mouza-Sundermore, Thana No.543, P.S.-Godda (Town), District-Godda and further ordered to amalget it in the new Jamabandi No. 100/55.

(c) during the pendency of this writ application, stay the operation of the order dated 29.08.2023 passed by the Learned Settlement Officer, Dumka passed in Objection Appeal No. 137/2021 as contained in Annexure-11 as well as this may court may also stay the order dated 18.09.2021 passed by the Learned Assistant Settlement Officer Final Publication Camp/Court, Godda, passed Objection in case No.1594/ 2017/ 1374/ 2018 as contained in Annexure-4."

3. It has been pointed out by the learned counsel for the State that the impugned order is revisable.

4. In that view of the matter, learned counsel for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition with a liberty to approach the appropriate authority.

5. With the aforesaid liberty, the present writ petition is, hereby, disposed of.

6. In view of above order, no notice is required to be issued upon the private respondents.

7. Pending interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of.
