RANCHI, India, Sept. 2 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 1:

1. Heard Mr. Sahil, learned counsel for the appellant and Mr. Rajneesh Vardhan, learned A.P.P. for the State.

2. This appeal is directed against the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Chatra in M.C.A. No.1105 of 2025, arising out of Piparwar P.S. Case No.56 of 2023, corresponding to S.T. Case No.74 of 2025, whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

3. It has been alleged that some accused were apprehended by the police and some incriminating articles were recovered from their possession.

4. Submission has been advanced by learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant has been implicated in this case on disclosure made by the co-accused persons.

5. It has further been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 29.10.2024 and some of the co-accused, who were apprehended at the spot, have been granted bail by the Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in Cr. Appeal (DB) No.1209 of 2024.

6. Mr. Rajneesh Vardhan, learned A.P.P. for the State though has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant but does not dispute the aforesaid facts.

7. Regard being had to the above, we, while setting aside the order dated 24.06.2025 passed by learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Chatra in M.C.A. No.1105 of 2025, arising out of Piparwar P.S. Case No.56 of 2023, corresponding to S.T. Case No.74 of 2025, direct the appellant, above named, be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Chatra, in connection with Piparwar P.S. Case No.56/2023, S.T. Case No.74 of 2025.

8. Accordingly, this appeal is allowed.
