RANCHI, India, Nov. 19 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 29:
1. Heard the parties.
2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mahagama P.S. Case No. 107 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 303(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri Satish Kumar Munda, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Godda.
3. On 15/16.05.2025, the informant was told by his driver that his Scorpio vehicle, bearing Registration No. JH-17AC-2533 was stolen by unknown persons.
4. From perusal of the impugned order, it appears that only allegation against the petitioner is that his name has come in the confession of co-accused.
5. Mr. A.K. Kashyap, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered on the pointing out of the petitioner.
6. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Satish Kumar Munda, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Godda, or his successor, in connection with Mahagama P.S. Case No. 107 of 2025.
