RANCHI, India, June 23 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 27:

1. The petitioners apprehending their arrest in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 165 of 2022 for the offences punishable under Sections 419/420 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Sections 66(C)/66(D) of the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, have prayed for grant of anticipatory bail.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have been falsely implicated in the present case and have not committed any offence as alleged. The petitioners have not been named in the F.I.R. In course of investigation co-accused Sundar Sachun Ekka was apprehended by the police who allegedly disclosed the names of two other co-accused persons, namely, Samsher Miyan and Hussain Ansari who were also subsequently apprehended by the police. The petitioners' names have allegedly been disclosed by the aforesaid two accused persons. Except that, there is no other material against the petitioners to connect them with the alleged offence. The petitioners, however, undertake to co-operate in the ongoing investigation. Hence, they may be given the privilege of anticipatory bail.

3. Learned A.P.P. opposes the petitioners' prayer for grant of anticipatory bail.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the materials available on record, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioners on anticipatory bail.

5. Accordingly, the petitioners, above named, in the event of their arrest or surrender before the court below within three weeks from today, shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) each swith two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar in connection with Balumath P.S. Case No. 165 of 2022 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
