JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON INDIAN BANK (FORMERLY ALLAHABAD BANK) V/S DEBTS RECOVERY TRIBUNAL AND ORS.

RANCHI, India, March 8 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Feb. 6:

1. Heard the parties.

2. The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief:-

"For a direction upon the Respondent no. 1 to immediately and expeditiously decide the case being S.A. No. 31/2025 without any further adjournments order delay."

3. The writ is being maintained because the D.R.T is not functional. For the purpose of interim protection i.e. for protecting the lis, in the present case, no such interim protection is required.

4. However, the D.R.T. is supposed to dispose of the matter as per the mandate of law as early as possible when it became functional.

5. With above observation and direction, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
