RANCHI, India, Aug. 2 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on July 2:

1. Pursuant to the notice, the learned counsels have appeared on behalf of the respondent nos.1 to 8 as well as respondent no.9.

2. I.A. No.3806 of 2025 has been filed for condoning the delay of 117 days.

3. Mr. Alok Lal, the learned counsel submits that inadvertently the delay of 117 days has been stated in the instant I.A as 74 days. He submits that he may kindly be allowed to make necessary correction with regard to the days relating to delay which has inadvertently been typed as 74 days in place of 117 days.

4. Permission is accorded.

5. The learned counsel for the appellant will make necessary correction with regard to the days of delay in course of the day.

6. The learned counsel for the appellant submits that this appeal has been filed on the ground of quantum as well as the liability. He further submits that the delay has occurred in preparation for filing of the appeal and taking opinion and submits in view of that, the said delay may kindly be condoned.

7. Learned counsel for the respondents opposed the prayer and submits that proper explanation is not there.

8. Considering that the appeal is pending here and the grounds have been taken of quantum as well as the liability and further in preparation of filing of the instant appeal the said delay has occurred, the delay of 117 days in preferring the instant appeal is, hereby, condoned. The instant I.A meant for condonation of delay is allowed and disposed of.

9. The learned counsel for the respondent nos.1 to 8 submits that this matter may kindly be taken up after three weeks to enable him to examine the main appeal.

10. Let this matter appear after four weeks under the appropriate heading.
