RANCHI, India, Feb. 25 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 27:
1. The instant appeal has been filed under Section 19(1) of the Family Court Act, 1984 against the judgment dated 15.10.2024 and decree signed on 24.10.2024 by the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Chaibasa in Original Suit No.100 of 2024.
2. Mr. Arun Kumar, learned counsel for the respondent-wife has raised serious objection on the issue of maintainability of the present appeal on the ground that the marriage was dissolved on the basis of joint application filed on behalf of both the parties on 08.10.2024, as has been taken note by the learned Family Court in paragraph-6 thereof.
3. Mr. Madhav Prasad, learned counsel for the appellant-husband, upon this, has submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw this appeal.
4. Accordingly, the instant appeal is dismissed as withdrawn and as such, disposed of.
5. In consequence thereof, I.A. No.10569 of 2025 also stands disposed of.
