RANCHI, India, Oct. 22 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 22:
I.A. No.11923 of 2025:
1. For the reasons stated in the application, we find sufficient cause to condone the delay of 14 days that has crept up in filing of the appeal.
2. Ordered accordingly.
3. I.A. No.11923 of 2025 is disposed of. I.A. No.12066 of 2025:
4. Leave to appeal granted.
5. Accordingly, the present interlocutory application is disposed of.
L.P.A. Filing No.8372 of 2025:
6. We really wondered how, the appellant can be said to be aggrieved given the fact that the mutation in Revenue Case No.01 of 2022-23 was attested only in favour of the writ-petitioner (the respondent no.5 Arun Kumar ) and the only direction passed by the learned Writ Court is to the effect that the land which has now been mutated in favour of Arun Kumar be measured. However, it affects the rights of the appellants is totally unknown. The instant appeal appears to have been filed only on the ground that Arun Kumar had earlier filed W.P.(C) No.4540 of 2023, wherein he had arrayed the appellants herein as private respondents but the same was withdrawn by him, that by itself cannot furnish a cause of action to the appellants and even otherwise they cannot be held to be the persons aggrieved.
7. On a pointed query to the learned counsel for the appellants regarding the mutation being in name of the appellants or anyone out of them, he is not able to answer the same in the affirmative.
8. Clearly the appeal is misconceived and is, accordingly, ordered to be dismissed.
