RANCHI, India, Nov. 2 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 6:

1. Heard the parties.

2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Nawalsahi P.S. Case No. 76 of 2022 for the offences registered under Sections 307, 34, 120-B of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of Miss Shivangi Priya, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Koderma.

3. On 29.07.2022 at about 7.00 pm, two unknown persons fired at the informant causing injury on his right temple. Suspicion has been raised against three named accused persons that due to previous enmity, they might have orchested the said offence.

4. It was submitted that the petitioner has been made accused in this case on the basis of confession of co-accused.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has submitted that the petitioner is also an accused in another case of similar nature. 6. Considering the fact that there is no cogent material available on record against the petitioner, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Miss Shivangi Priya, learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Koderma, or her successor, in connection with Nawalsahi P.S. Case No. 76 of 2022.
