RANCHI, India, Oct. 17 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 16:
1. This matter has been taken out of turn on mentioning made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the O.P.No.2 considering the fact that the Coordinate Bench has directed both the petitioner as well as the O.P.No.2 to remain physically present before this Court.
2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the O.P.No.2 submits that the O.P.No.2 is physically present in the Court. She further submits that the direction made by the Coordinate Bench of this Court by order dated 15.07.2025 has been complied belatedly. She then submits that a sum of Rs.4 lacs (Rs.Four Lacs) has been paid to the O.P.no.2 by the petitioner.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not present in person and the arguing counsel has gone out of station due to some exigency.
4. In view of above and further considering the report of Jharkhand State Legal Services Authority (JHASLSA), Ranchi to the effect that the mediation between the parties has failed, it transpires that now this matter is required to be decided on merits.
5. In view of above, the appearance of the O.P. No.2 is dispensed with.
6. Let this matter appear under the appropriate heading after "Durga Puja" Vacation.
