RANCHI, India, April 13 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 11:

Heard Mr. Pratiush Lala, learned counsel appearing for the appellant and the learned Special P.P. appearing for the State.

This appeal is directed against the order dated 09.02.2026 passed in B. P. No. 24 of 2026 arising out of Putki P. S. Case No. 130 of 2025 by the learned Sessions Judge, Dhanbad whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.

It has been alleged that some unknown miscreants had thrown bomb at the workplace of the informant causing panic amongst the workers of the company who carried out the work of the production of coal at Gopalichak Colliery.

Learned counsel for the appellant has submitted that the appellant has been implicated on account of some information given by a spy and he further submitted that the said spy had also taken the name of Adarsh Kumar Paswan who has been granted bail by this court in Cr. Appeal (DB) Filing No. 4467 of 2026. He also submits that the appellant is in custody since 30.12.2025.

Learned Special P.P. for the State has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.

Regard being had to the manner of implication of the appellant and the fact that one of the similarly situated co-accused has been granted bail by this court, we while setting aside the order dated 09.02.2026 passed in B. P. No. 24 of 2026, direct that the appellant above named be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Dhanbad in connection with Putki P. S. Case No. 130 of 2025.

This appeal is allowed.
