RANCHI, India, Feb. 25 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Jan. 27:
1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioners in this writ petition, are aggrieved by the order dated 04.10.2021 by which a general direction has been issued by the respondents-authority to reduce the number of Lady Security Guards in Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Gumla.
3. It is the case of the petitioners that there were two persons engaged on daily wages and they are continuing but their payment is irregular.
4. During course of argument, Mr. A.K. Sahani, submits that suffice it would be if a direction is given to the respondents to pay their honorarium on regular basis.
5. Considering the nature of the prayer made by Mr. A.K. Sahani, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners, without interfering into the question of the legality of the selection process of the petitioners, I direct the respondent-District Education Officer-cum-District-Programme Officer, Jharkhand Education Project, Gumla, if the petitioners are actually working and the respondents are legally taking work from the petitioners, to pay their honorarium on regular basis.
6. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition stands disposed of.
