RANCHI, India, Nov. 19 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 29:

1. Heard the parties.

2. Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 112 of 2025, for the offences under Sections 111(3), 111(4), 111(7), 308(4), 308(7), 310(4), 310(5), 310(6), 61, 62 & 3(5) of B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 25(1-B)(a)/26/35 of the Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar.

3. On 26.05.2025 at about 4.30 am., Chandwa Police, on the basis of confidential information that some criminals had assembled at Pannatanr forest area and they were making preparation for committing dacoity, raided the place of occurrence and apprehended co-accused persons.

4. It was submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot nor any incriminating was recovered from his possession. It was further submitted that his name has come in the confession of co-accused. It was finally submitted that several similarly co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier.

5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Addl. Chief Judicial Magistrate, Latehar, in connection with Chandwa P.S. Case No. 112 of 2025.
